Michael Rosselli

Co-Head of Investment Banking

Michael Rosselli is an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the securities industry. He is a Co-Head of Investment Banking at Yorkville Securities and has been one of the lead bankers at Yorkville Advisors Global, LP——an affiliated, SEC-registered investment adviser to a family of hedge funds —since 2004. 

Mr. Rosselli is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing investments for Yorkville Advisors. He has led structured debt and equity investments across a wide range of industries, including technology, real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, and business services. He also serves as a specialist in financial, business, and accounting due diligence and transaction structuring.

Prior to joining Yorkville Advisors, Mr. Rosselli was a mergers and acquisitions specialist at Deloitte & Touche, advising both financial and corporate acquirers on M&A and recapitalization transactions ranging from $5 million to $5 billion. He obtained a CPA license and holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Richmond.

Matthew Beckman

Co-Head of Investment Banking

Matthew J. Beckman is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the securities industry.

He is a Co-Head of Investment Banking at Yorkville Securities and has been a Partner at Yorkville Advisors Global, LP——an affiliated, SEC-registered investment adviser to a family of hedge funds —since its inception in 2009.

At Yorkville Advisors, Mr. Beckman is responsible for developing an investment strategy and portfolio construction, identifying investment opportunities, structuring investments and monitoring the portfolio.

Mr. Beckman began his Wall Street career at the May Davis Group, where he specialized in small- and mid-cap financings. He holds a B.A. from Rutgers College.

Patrice McNicoll

Co-CEO

Mr. McNicoll joined Yorkville Securities following a distinguished career in investment banking. 

Prior to joining Yorkville Securities, Mr. McNicoll led the investment banking division at B. Riley Securities.

He was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of MLV & Co., a boutique investment bank that he successfully sold to FBR Capital Markets in 2015; the firm was later acquired by B. Riley Securities.

Earlier, Mr. McNicoll served as a Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. in New York City, where he played a pivotal role in generating revenues and expanding the firm’s investment banking platform. Over the course of his career, he has structured and executed a broad range of capital markets transactions for corporate clients across diverse sectors, including cryptocurrency, energy, technology, healthcare, financial services, and industrials.

Mr. McNicoll began his investment banking career as a Vice President at ABN AMRO and held positions at other prominent institutions, including The Merchant Bank of Crédit Agricole and Bell Canada.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics from York University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from McGill University.

Troy Rillo

Co-CEO

Troy Rillo is an industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in the securities industry.

He is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Yorkville Securities LLC.

Mr. Rillo is also a Partner at Yorkville Advisors Global, LP—an affiliated, SEC-registered investment adviser to a family of hedge funds, and is Chief Executive Officer of Yorkville America, LLC, an affiliated, SEC-registered investment adviser to branded investment products, such as SMAs and ETFs.

Mr. Rillo is a recognized authority in corporate and securities law and is a frequent speaker on related topics.

Prior to joining Yorkville Advisors, Mr. Rillo was a corporate and securities partner at the law firm of K&L Gates LLP (“K&L”), a leading international law firm. Mr. Rillo also worked in corporate finance at Motorola, Inc., where his responsibilities included evaluating new products, strategic plans, capital budgets and acquisitions.

Mr. Rillo earned both his J.D. and B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida, magna cum laude. He was a member of the Florida Law Review and is a member of the Order of the Coif. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Florida.
